First and foremost...ignore everyone here. I'm not saying that shoe is right FOR THEM. Is it right for you? 33% Chance.

The correct type of running shoe has a lot to do with running.

There are Normal, High Arch, and Low Arch. To find out what type of foot you have, stick your foot in the bathrub with running water to get it nice and wet, then place your foot on a piece of paper to see what type of imprint it leaves.

Reply:Go to a true running store. dont be cheap in buying your trainers. if you dont get the right shoes youll end up like me missing 2 weeks of training. i came back right before champs.

they will give you a decent pair of shoes at the same price you would at a store at the mall.
Reply:i wud say nike ... yeah
Reply:To get cheap sneakers, I go to an outlet mall. They have all the name brand shoes but they don't carry new designs and types. You can find shoes that will meet your needs plus are way cheaper. And I agree with the last answer, you need to find a shoe that fits your feet and running style =\ Only by trying them on will you find what works best.
Reply:Asics and Saucony sneakers seem to be reliable shoes. Nike is an excellent brand for track spikes, I just ordered zoom miler spikes from NIKE, you can get them very cheap at online sellers like zappos if you need racing shoes.
Reply:The right shoes are different for everyone so I would suggest you go to a running store that will help you try on a bunch of pairs and watch you run in them. The staff at some running stores are trained to pick a shoe that will work for your feet. Where i live we have Movin' shoes which does exactly that and the shoes are usually around $80 - $90 but i don't think they are a nation wide company so it may take some looking around.
