...if it's possible to find a decent athletic shoe company that doesn't employ sweatshop labor, kill whales, etc. and actually might stock their product somewhere where I could go and try it on, rather than cross my fingers with a mail-order.
What brand of running shoes should I buy next?
Asics are a good brand, also new balance has good technology

Reply:I'm an avid runner and I have some Aasics that have worked well--no sore feet or anything. You can fin them a running stores and probably places like Bob Wards or other sporting good stores or Gart Sports (Sports Authority)

Reply:I suggest Asics at a local sporting goods store. Make sure you try them on before you buy them, and don't be afraid to ask the sales person their opinion of the shoes. They might be surprisingly helpful, and they get paid to help you and would proably love to talk with you!
