yes

My running shoes are extremely dirty can i throw them in the washing machine?
YES YOU CAN! i do it all the time!
Reply:no , they mite shrink , spray them with a hose
Reply:Yes you can it will not hurt them do not put them in with clothes get some rags and throw them in the washer with your shoes
Reply:you can... but i don't really see the point

they're just going to get dirty again

and besides, having dirty shoes makes you look tough!
Reply:Yeah, but it'll dissolve the glue and make the sole harder and less flexible, easier to crack.
Reply:I wash mine all the time. No bleach then stuff them with old newspaper or old towels to absorb some of the water maybe an hour. Then sit over night to dry.
Reply:no because it will ruin the shoes and also the washing machine
Reply:its better to hand wash them - they get cleaned better even though the job is much tougher!

=D
Reply:yes as long as they do not run out
Reply:yes
Reply:yes you can. make sure you use the right detergent or bleach
Reply:yes i wash my trainers when they get really muddy, wash theme on 30 degrees by theme self and there be fine
Reply:I put mine in the washing machine, don't do it any higher Temp than 40 to be safe, if you place them inside a pillow case it will help to avoid any damage to your washing machine drum
Reply:i wouldnt, it messes them up. just wash them by hand in the sink and let them air dry.
Reply:Yes but don't put them in the dryer. Just let them air dry. The dryer gets too hot for the soles of your shoes and can ruin them.
Reply:yes but if you're shoes are dirty make sure that you put it on warm/warm or warm/cold temperature for it will not be cleaned otherwise, and don't wash it with your clothes or with too many shoes, and CAUTION: make sure you never throw it inside with mud, NEVER!! that will ruin your laundry machine forever, take all the mud and dirts that are stuck to it off! this is highly recommended , and then after you do that wash it with a lot of laundry detergent, definitly spin them after washing and don't dry them with heat, that will ruin your shoes , hang them in your backyard on the rope, in the sunlight, and make sure not to put bleach in it. never! don't forget the pillow bag, hope this was helpful.
Reply:I really wouldn't . If you want to, go ahead. It might mess them up depending on what type of shoe it is. DO NOT put them in the dryer EVER. It will disconfigure the shoe.
Reply:yeah i'm pretty sure you can. All my friends did it. But, yes theres a but. I was in camp once and i think they put my shoes in the washing machine and the side ripped a bit! However if you're a risk taker, then go for it! :)
Reply:yes you can, with dishwashing liquid and laundry soap.
Reply:u can put em in there or u can just hose
Reply:Yes. On cold/hot would be best maybe even cold/cold. Don't over do them maybe 15 min. at the most.

Keep checking them every 5 min. or so.
Reply:Yes I've done this before my converse worked perfect I'm sure running sgoes will work too just put it by itsself
Reply:Yes, you can.
Reply:yes i do it all the time and it works really good!
Reply:no...it will damage it.

try running it under water to get rid of the dirt, then soak 'em in liquid detergent.

give it a good scrub.

if tat doesnt work, then it's time to get a new shoe or consider damaging it a lil by putting it in the washing machine.
Reply:I always wash my trainers in the machine I put them in a pillow case first.
Reply:i do
Reply:Ya I suppose.

I just spray them in my laundry room sink, use a scrub brush and maybe some soap, and a bleach pen on the really bad spots. To dry them stuff newspaper in them and set them on/by a vent.
Reply:Yes you can they will lose there shape a little but the best way to get them clean and not bounce back and forth agains the side is to wash them with some towels and they will work as washing scrubbers. If your shoes wont sink just wrap the towles around the shoes or try to sing the shoes with the towels. I hope this was helpful. P.S. to dry them in the dry use some dry towels as padding or else they will be really loud .
Reply:Yes you can!

Here's a link to washing them. Simple. Good luck!
