What running shoes are recommended for wide feet?

i know every foot is different, but just wondering if anyone found a brand that they were particularly happy with.

What running shoes are recommended for wide feet?
well I have a hard time finding ruining shoes as I have wide feet and vary high arches. I would suggest you try to find a really good store that knows the foot and there products (so no don't go to the mall) and ask them. I have only found one place in my area that when I ask what shoes have a high arch support even knew what I was talking about lol





its also about 30 miles out of town, and I don't live in a small town
Reply:I'm not with buying those expensive shoes for running, try getting you some reeboks wide width.
Reply:NB comes in widths which is an advantage, often other shoes can be fitted quite well though. Go to a specialty store, the shoes may cost 10 bucks more but being in the right ones is well worth it.

Reply:I don't know of a particular brand, just make sure the ones you buy are comfortable and have plenty of room in the toe area
Reply:Have you tried New Balance? They are typically highly recommended. Also check with the store clerk at a footlocker or nike store.
Reply:i think any running shoe, a foot is like a finger print, everyone is different, you just have to look around to see what feels comfurtable, i like nike's. thats what i have, they have this size meter on the box that helps you find the right shoe. mine fits fine and i have a tall arch and a wide foot. just look around for a good pair of nike's ^_^
Reply:New Balance and Avia are the best shoe I've come across for wider feet ( my problem too ). Stop by one of the New Balance stores (if possible) and they'll match the best shoe for you.
