Shoes for aerobics and shoes for running. Which you do you recommend?

I've been using Asics Gel-kayanos for running for 6 months and they seem OK, but still a bit stiff. And for step aerobics, I've been using Brooks Orb cross trainers for the last couple of months and am disappointed. Neither shoes, for the money that they cost, seem to be providing adequate cushioning against impact and I still feel shin pains. I reckon my old Adidas runners did a better job.

I have small narrow feet and need shoes with excellent high-impact qualities - which shoes do you recommend?

well your problem is youve had the same pair of shoes for six months. But i definately recomend Saucony's( very good impact cushion)they are light and extremely durable, ive put hunreds of miles on mine. As for your shin pains , you could very well be developing a stress fracture. So you might want to see your physician. To avoid stress fractures, always try to keep intergrateing new exercises to your obody. Too much of the same thing for too long will lead to stress fractures. I hope i was of some assistence
Reply:I use New Balance, but only in the gym so not really alot of high impact running.

I find them very comfortable.

Foot Locker sold them to me, they seem to have some idea of what they are talking about.
Reply:Try nikes or maybe saucony's. Saucony's are very light weight and break in very easily.. I used them for track one year and loved them! They fit narrow feet and you can do much more than running in them.
