How long do running shoes last..assuming I run about 60 miles per week over regular dirt and pavement?

Running shoes generally last for 350 - 500 miles. At 60 miles per week, that's only 6 - 9 weeks. That's a lot of shoes!

I am a walker and walk about 3 miles every day, mine lasts about six months , so should yours.
Reply:Your feet and posture are more important than your shoes, replace them about every 2 months
Reply:I have read that a running shoe should be replaced after 500 miles. If you are running 60 miles, that is to much, 45 is the most you should run in a week.
Reply:if you run that much i would say they'd last a season or two.
