What are some good, lightweight running shoes for cross country?
I really like running in Asics, so do many other people. They are comfortable and lightweight, and can be cheap. Mine were about $60, $65 ish.





For meets, you might want to get spikes. I like wearing spikes at meets, makes me feel faster. However Asics are great for meets too, it's a pretty good shoe. You'll get a lot of miles out of them.

Reply:Check out the Puma running shoes. They're as featherlight as track shoes and they're not as clumsy feeling as past shoes I've worn. The ones I've got right now were only $75.

Reply:Check out Nike Air Max's. They are great. They are light weight and very comfortable. I paid $85 for mine. Though if you have a Nike outlet near you, you can get them cheaper.
Reply:I like asics DS trainers.....they are really light, but give you support for cross-country running! I have those and I love them!
