How would the asics running shoes be rated compare to nike?

I have only worn Asics. I love them. I have never had any problem with my feet or legs either. I'd like to try the Nike for the chip that tracks the runs, but I love my Asics!!!

How would the asics running shoes be rated compare to nike?

i've been a nike wearer for all my life, and i love them, but for the most part people hate them and always have problems
Reply:Every runner has a different "perfect" shoe that fits their running environment, frequency and style. The important thing is to not limit yourself to a brand, but find the right shoe. I have included a website that is a good starting place to finding shoes that will work.





That being said, I LOVE Asics. I ran with Nike for a while and assumed that I naturally always had shin splints if I ran for long periods of time. My friend helped my find a shoe at a specialty running shoe store. I had to consider my arch, my running terrain, etc. I ended up with the Asics Gel Kayano; I never had shin splints with this shoe. I ran eight miles and I never had any "shoe problems." They rock.
Reply:um, asics are soooo much better. They specialize in running shoes, nike does not. Idk for guys but i know there are some crappy running shoes for women by nike. However, i love nike's racing shoes...
Reply:I started my running with Nike but after a couple of years, I switched to Asics. While I thought the Nike Air Triax family were good shoes, I loved the Asics once I started wearing them. They seemed more supportive yet lighter. I still wear Asics and I haven't looked back.
Reply:go to a running shop and they will recommend you a type of shoe that fits the way you run, but personally i think asics are much better, i have worn them for a long time in various styles and have never had any problems, but its up to you. chose whatever id the most comfortable
