Nike free 4.0 was a great shoe, but it was discontinued. I need to find a similar shoe that is barely there.
All the running shoes I can find are just too stiff and cumbersome. Where can I find a shoe that is sock-like?
There's the Nike Free 3.0, 5.0, 5.0 v2, 5.0 v3, and 7.0.
Reply:ECCO.
Those are the best running shoes EVER.

Reply:I know exactly what you mean. While it isn't necessarily 'sock-like' like the Nike Free is, the Nike Zoom Miler trainer is a very lightweight/flexible shoe (weighs about 9 ounces/flexible mesh forefoot). This is the training shoe inspired by the Nike Zoom Miler spikes. I swear by them.
Here's a pic:

Reply:Teva makes some "glorified socks" that barefoot runners like. REI carries them.
Reply:I suggest you just run in Yo socks! draw a nike sign on the side of them.... Its spiffy!
