How could i make money for running shoes?

Well I need some money for cross country this year because i need shoes. How could I make money. I am 14 and they are 60-70 dollars

How could i make money for running shoes?
I have an idea, some may find it hilarious, some may find it stupid, some may find it as crazy.





What I would do is get some old, raggedy clothing, get some cardbord and a few sharpies. Then write on the cardboard with the sharpies the phrase "Will Run For Money And New Running Shoes." Then go out to a busy street corner and hold it up and hopefully you'll have $300-500 by the end of the day.
Reply:Do babysitting, lawn mowing, or walking your neighbors dog. Any simple job that you could do. You can make a lot of money babysitting. Ask neighbors and friends, put up fliers, make business cards, and put them in peoples mail boxes. You can do it! Good luck!
Reply:Hi. Where do you live? Are there newspaper routes in your area? When my son was that age he delivered newspapers and made some decent money. Do you know of any families that need a babysitter? You don't have to be a girl to be a babysitter! Boys are great! If you are involved in a church, perhaps you could spread the word that you are available for babysitting. What about some kind of summer job mowing lawns, etc? I know that is PAST cross country season, but perhaps your parents would lend you the money and you can pay them back in the summer.

Reply:You could always pull a Bowerman and make some shoes from a waffle iron. But i would say just babysit, mow lawns, do extra chores. Those kind of things.
