New Balance is generally a good brand, so I'm sure they're fine. I like them in the white. But more importantly, it's about how they fit. I don't recommend buying shoes online unless you know your foot extremely well. When running, it's extremely important that you have appropriate shoes or it can do in your knees and back. Go to a store that specializes in running equipment if you're a serious runner. When I went, the guy looked at the way I walked and the shape of my foot. It made all the difference because as it turns out my arch is so high that my old shoes were causing my feet to go sideways.

If you have a Fleet Feet in you city or town go there and they will make sure you have the prober shoe.
