SOMEONE WHO RUNS A LOT WOULD HELP!
What is the best brand of running shoes?
It all depends on the person.
Personally, I've been running in Sauconys since I was in 5th grade and can't stand any other type of shoe. But I've got friends on my track team that can only run in Asics. There is no one best brand of running shoe, but there are different types of shoes (stability, cushioned, etc) that make alot of difference. Get your shoes at a specialty running store where knowledgeable people can check out your feet and reccomend shoes.

Reply:Actually I was wrong, loco's suck, never ever ever buy them. Report It
Reply:I like Loco brand shoes and adidas. Whatever you choose, just don't choose Nike. Especially if you have wide feet or care about your feet at all.
Reply:nike trust me my dad tries them out for the company, Not kidding
Reply:Nike is a good brand.
Reply:ok.....#1 ASICS.....#2 ADIDAS.......#3 NIKE.............
Asics are very light weight and stabile. MY favorite types are GEL-DS Racer/trainers and Gel Frantic. The Gel-DS Racer is the ultimate running shoe. ITs the best running shoe ever! Adidas is pretty cheap and last along time. The ADIZERO PR from adidas is the lightest running shoes uptodate.
NIke bc of the air max 180 and 360. Aint got much to say about them
Reply:nike without a doubt. i luv 2 run and i have tried many shoes b4. i had reboks and they were a peice of crap. and adidas werent very impressive either. i would go with nike any day.
=)
Reply:I run about 30-40 miles per week, and I manage to fit in about 3 marathons and numerous half marathons in a year.. I hope that I qualify as "someone who runs a lot".. :)
Anyway, they do surveys every year of marathon runners and the shoes that they wear. Asics is clearly the winner with Nike firmly in second place. Mizuno, New Balance, and Saucony are all third in someone's survey, and they're closing in on Nike. Personally, I usually go with Asics and Mizunos, depending on my mood, but I sometimes wear a Nike. As you can see, my feet are not that sensitive to the brand of shoes I wear, and neither are the feet of just about every runner out there.
In my humble opinion, all five of the shoe brands are very similar, and they all make great shoes. There is no "best brand of running shoes", except maybe the best brand of running shoes *for you*. I highly recommend that you go to a specialty running shoe store so that they can analyze how you run and make some recommendations. They will allow you to try them on and go for a run on a treadmill or parking lot. Just pick the one that fits you the best. Everyone has different feet.
Good luck on finding the best shoes for you~!
Reply:Sauconys is really good, but try out different types at your local athletic shoe store. You might prefer a lighter pair or a more comfortable pair or one that simply works better for your feet
